Dr. Susana Méndez, presented to the 2010 VII World Congress of Depressive Disorders in Mendoza Argentina, the title of her presentations were "PTSD and Addictions" and "Depression and Addictions."

Dr. Susana Méndez, presented to the 2009 Conference of the International Bar Association in Madrid, Spain, on October 9, 2009. The title of her presentation was “Divert Court and the Link with Treatment and CTN.” Dr. Méndez then traveled to Barcelona to attend the 4th International Medical Acupuncture meeting on October 23. Her presentation was “Treatment with Acupuncture of the Dual Diagnosis Female Offender.”

In February, 2009, Dr. Susana Méndez presented “Explanation of the Essential Principles
Critical in Facilitating Clinical Trials Network Research in Clinical Treatment Programs
in Argentina, and Uruguay: CTN 027 - Motivational Interviewing and CTN 030 – Buprenorphine”
at the Moravia Clinic, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In May of 2008, Dr. Susana E. Méndez attended the 1st International Conference on
Integrative, Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Toronto, Canada.
She presented a poster titled “Auricular and Body Acupuncture Treatment for Patients with
Dual and Triple Diagnosis in an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center.”
Dr. Susana E Méndez visited Buenos Aires, Argentina where she had been invited to speak to the 10th International Conference for Chemical Dependence and Mental Health Rehabilitation, meeting from October 29 to November 3rd, 2007. Participating members came from Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Spain. Dr. Méndez’ topic was “Chemical Dependence, Mental Health, and HIV Treatment with Eastern and Western Medicine.” As the result of her presentation she was invited by Dr Adrian Inchauspe, to speak at three university hospitals in Buenos Aires:

From May 14-26, 2007, Dr. Susana E. Méndez, National Trainer for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) took two Acupuncturists Colleagues to Tijuana, Mexico, to provide training at the University of Baja California Medical School. The 28 students included physicians, nurses, and psychologists.

During the first week of July, 2006, Dr. Susana Méndez, visited the Department of Psychology at the Universidad Señor de Sipan in Chiclayo, Lambayeque, Perú. While there she attended the 4th International Conference in Psychotherapies. Dr. Méndez conducted a week-long training in AcuDetox using the NADA protocol, certifying 10 professionals, presented 2 lectures, “The Benefits of Using the NADA Protocol in Patients with a Dual Diagnosis Seeking Treatment for Chemical Dependency” and “Hands-on in the NADA Protocol in Conjunction with Motivational Interview.”
