National and International trainings are available for those individuals who want to learn the process of auricular acupuncture for addictions and Trauma including PTSD. Training is based on the technique developed by Dr. Michael Smith in the Bronx New York, USA and chromotherapy with EMDR based on the work done by Dr's. Daniel Asis, and Raphael Nogiere.

 

National Trainings are available every month 3 facilities in Dallas, Texas. A candidate for training will be able to complete a full certificate of education and hands-on in the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). The training is a week long. In Texas if you hold a license such as MD,DO, RN, LVN, LCDC, LPC, LMSW to work with CD/MH, after the training you will be able to apply to the TSMB (Texas State Medical Board) for a license. Be sure that you check your local authorities to confirm that you qualify for the training.

 

International trainings are tailored according to the needs of each place. Since 2000, Dr. Méndez has provided consultation each summer in Europe and South America. Chile and France (September 6-10, 2010) will be included in Dr. Méndez’ circuit in 2010.
